ShipMate Outboard Two Cycle Injector Oil is carefully blended of selected base oils and ashless detergent additives developed specifically to meet the NMMA/BIA designations TC-W3. The state of the art, ashless additive package is specially designed to reduce the growing problems of outboards' 2-cycle engine deposits which cause piston ring sticking, piston varnish, piston scuffing, bearing wear, exhaust port carbon deposits, plug fouling, pre-ignition, and rusting.
In addition, ShipMate is specially formulated to protect all 2-cycle outboards from the adverse affects of common, low grade “pipeline" gasolines. Continued use of low quality fuels can add to the buildup of piston deposits, which interfere with the free ring and piston movement in each cylinder, increasing ring wear and degradation which eventually cause catastrophic engine failure.
Recommended for high output outboard two-cycle engines requiring 40:1 and 50:1 gasoline to oil mixtures; and/or where NMMA/BIA certified Oils for TC-W, TC-WII or TC-W3 service are required. May also be used as a premix or injector fluid in lower horsepower outboard motors and other small two cycle engines, at manufacturers’ recommended gasoline to oil mixtures 50:1 (i.e. 16:1, 24:1, 32:1, 48:1, 50:1) following owner's manual instructions. Shipmate also has applications in certain 2-cycle motorcycles, snowmobiles, lawn care equipment, and chain saws, and other air-cooled two-cycle engines, in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations.
ShipMate Outboard Two Cycle Injector Oil is pre-diluted for easier mixing, even during severe winter conditions. Proper base oil viscosity makes this oil suitable for pre-mixed fuel whenever the manufacturer recommends SAE 30 or SAE 40 lubricant.
