These propeller are designed for High Performance Hulls needing lots of bow lift powered by High HP 2&4 Stroke Outboards.
If you are familiar with the small hub Mercury Trophy, this propeller is the same principle.
It is a small hub prop with lots of rake and TONS of cup. The small hub exhaust gas to flow over and through the hub out of the hole allowing the propeller to spin up easier and give great hole shot. After the boat is moving, all the exhaust gases are redirected through the hub giving incredible mid range acceleration and top end.
If you have a jack plate, this IS THE PROP FOR YOU! They like to run with extreme elevated motor heights.
These propellers listed below are what we carry in stock HOWEVER we can order direct from the factory any EVEN pitch prop also.
We also have as normal stock all of the TRO4's in their Patented Cushion Lok hubs. This hub system looks like the old Flo Torq I pressed in hubs however they are a break away style hub. There are 10 rubber "rods" and 4 nylon "rods" inside the hub giving it cushion against the force from shifting into gear resulting in an ULTRA SMOOTH shifting propeller. If you should hit a solid underwater object you will damage the prop however prior to bending of your propeller shaft the nylon rods will shear protecting your investment in the motor. The hubs are replacable with just a wooden mallet. No fancy press required.
Personally, I have seen a 4 MPH increase over the same pitch Mercury Trophy propeller on a F250 Yamaha/Triton combo.
